Vision
To help enrich the relationships of all couples, thus making life a more joyful experience.
Mission
To achieve that vision of enriching relationships by holding an annual retreat focused on being together as a couple and learning about ourselves, our partners and the joys of growing, caring, productive relationships through all stages of life.
The Retreat should be affordable, promote friendships with others, be fun, and continue in the retreat setting to minimize outside distractions.
A Non-Profit,
Volunteer-Led Retreat Since 1969
The Rocky Mountain Couples Retreat is presented by The Banff Couples Conference Society, a registered non-profit organization.

Since 1969, this retreat has been organized and led by couples volunteering together, sharing their time, skills, and experience to support strong healthy relationships.

Every part of the weekend is created with care, purpose, and a genuine desire to serve couples—not for profit, but for impact.

A Legacy of Connection
What began as a small, intimate weekend has grown into a trusted and meaningful experience for couples across generations. Over the years, the retreat has been hosted in some of the most iconic locations in the Canadian Rockies—including Banff, Lake Louise, and now Canmore—while continuing to evolve to meet the needs of couples today. The name of the conference was changed from the Banff Couples Conference to Rocky Mountain Couples Retreat in 2019. For a history of the past conferences, click on the link below.
